safe haven

for anyone who’s lost someone they love

Haarlem | 3-months | Starting February 6th, 2025 | English spoken

Something special happens when we come together with others who have loved and lost. There’s a level of understanding and connection we find there that is unique to the shared experience of grief, even if our stories and paths look vastly different.

This group is open to anyone figuring out grief and life in the aftermath of losing a loved one to death. Whether it’s been a week or a year, whether they were born or chosen family - you are welcome here.

what can you expect?

The foundational premise of these circles is that grief wants to be witnessed and our stories to be heard. There’ll be space for you to share words that maybe haven’t before had a place to be received without judgement or discomfort. And we’ll explore grief and loss through various exercises to help you develop a relationship to this thing that has just waltzed into your life.

We’ll also take some time exploring topics such as coping mechanisms, continuing bonds, the impact grief has had on your friendships, relationships and family dynamics.

Ultimately, these circles are about finding connection, understanding and belonging and breaking through the sense of isolation that so commonly accompanies grief. We may cry, we may laugh, we may be angry and we may dance - grief isn’t any one thing and there will be space for all of it.
